What began as a hobby has now taken on a life of it's own! I will be displaying my work at the upcoming Calgary Comic Expo in April. For those locals who find me on DeviantArt, it would be awesome if you stopped by to say hello!

I started oil painting only a couple of years back through the inspiration of my wife. Loving all things nerd, it was relatively easy to settle in on themes I enjoyed. What became difficult was finding the necessary time to complete these works. For those unfamiliar with oil paint, it takes quite a bit of time to dry and, as a result, each painting is a time consuming process. Although it may only take 12-24 hours to complete, this is usually spread over a long period of time (Months???).

As I said, this began as a hobby, however now the bulk of my works are commissions. The characters, naturally, all belong to their respective owners. This is definitely a passion for me now and I am finding it easier to make time for it.
